TANYA BIGGS, NP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Tanya Biggs, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who cares for patients in Primary Care and Native Wind clinics. She values providing compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care by truly listening to her patients and utilizing shared decision-making. Learning about her own Native heritage ignited a passion to serve the Native American population.

Before coming to Buford L. Rolin Health Clinic, Tanya had experience in the clinical setting, working on the pediatric oncology and pediatric medical-surgical units at Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart. Tanya also worked at Coastal Alabama Community College and Fortis Institute as a faculty adjunct clinical instructor, teaching pediatric nursing students in the hospital.

Tanya grew up in Northwest Florida and currently resides in Jay, Florida, with her family. Her special interests include treating communicable diseases, pediatric palliative care, and primary prevention of disease.

Tanya received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.
