Refills may not be available for pick-up until the next day depending on the volume of patients for that day. It is best to allow at least 24 hours for a refill, especially those that need a new doctor’s order. If the patient has designated another person to pick up their medications, the designee must provide the patient’s name, date of birth, and permission for them to pick up the medication. A valid photo ID will be required to pick up ALL controlled substance medication.
The Pharmacy Formulary is a list of medications that we carry. If a medication is not available, the patient may request the physician to send a comparable prescription or have the original filled at another pharmacy at their own expense. A pharmacy committee can sometimes approve payment for medications that have a higher cost. These approvals are limited and are based on medical need.
